Sep. 21st, 2012 02:39 pmI'm a bit of an odd duck (no comments from the peanut gallery, please) when it comes to music. Pretty much any type has its own appeal, imho, but my absolute favorite, bar none, is steampunk.
In this vein: The Electro Swings.
OH MY GOD, PEOPLE.
Go, listen. They're Twenties-style jazz with a steampunk-electric twist, and AMAZING. The album is Steampunk, ten incredible songs, and fairly cheap on iTunes. My favorite song has to be Steampunk in the Rain. Or Airship Swing. Or possibly Clockwork and Tesla Is Knockin' At My Door. Great beats, great rhythms, and gorgeous, gorgeous music all around. Just yum.
